We have a special event happening at the gallery this Friday night!! Its a pop up show by Norwegian photographer Espen Stokke!
Espen Stokke is a 29 year old Norwegian who has been shooting since the turn of the century. After developing his interest in photography through skateboarding, Espen now focuses more broadly on street-photography and his surroundings.
“I buy film and pay bills by selling my time to two non-photo related employers, leaving my photography with the slightly awkward – but also fitting – tag of pastime. I don’t really count on inspiration for photography, but that being said, I always have a photo-book or zine at hand. A few of my favorites are Anders Jørgensens Du mich auch, Flophouse by Harvey Wang and Helen Levitt’s Slide Show. “
We are very happy to have Greg Hunt as part of the “Second Time’s a Charm” double exposure photography show here at Seeing Thing gallery on September 6th! Here is a double exposure movie he made called
